Uruguay: State radio available live on the internet

BBC Monitoring observes four radio services from state broadcaster SODRE (Servicio Oficial de Difusion Radiotelevision y Espectaculos) available on live streams from their new website at www.sodre.gub.uy
The four services, their callsigns, frequencies and formats are:
Radio Uruguay (callsign CX26) - 1050 kHz mediumwave - news and information
Radio Clasica (callsign CX6) - 650 kHz mediumwave - classical music
Emisora del Sur (callsign CX38) - 1290 kHz mediumwave - Uruguayan and Latin American music
Babel FM (no callsign) - 97.1 MHz FM in Montevideo, and three FM relays in the provinces - jazz, fusion, ethnic, experimental and contemporary music.
The broadcaster also operates shortwave transmitters on 6125 and 9620 kHz, which reportedly relay Emisora del Sur and Radio Clasica. SODRE’s other operations include television channel Canal 5 (also known as TV Nacional), a symphony orchestra, a ballet corps, and picture, sound, film and video archives.
Founded in 1929 as Servicio Oficial de Difusion Radio y Electrica, SODRE is operated by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
