A closer look at June Monitoring Times 2007

June will be here in a few days, and so will the June issue of Monitoring Times. For the blog readers, here is a preview of what I will be covering on the shortwave scene.
The June column of QSL Report features a tip of Word to the Wise Dxer on IRCs. Did you know there remain some expired IRCs that remain in post offices...and it might be yours! I'll update you on the do's an don'ts and the pitfalls you may not be aware of.
The June QSL's represent contributor's verifying station from Ascension Island-Family Radio Worldwide, followed by Radio Canada International, two clandestine's, Ecuador, Guatemala, three medium wave stations, Radio Free Asia's Palau relay, a new pirate station, Radio Vatican and Venezuela's Radio Amazonas.
Singapore's BBC relay kicks off the Broadcast Logs column at 0005 UTC, followed by a worldwide station/country list to Vatican Radio at 2300 UTC.
MT's center Shortwave Guide includes the latest A07 English frequencies to keep you busy. Thanks to our readers for their kind comments on MT's Shortwave Guide being the best source for current 24-hour frequency schedules. .
June is almost here! Don't miss out on another great issue, chock full of shortwave QSLs, logs and a by-hour English schedule to keep you busy bandscanning for hours! To learn more about MT please visit http://www.monitoringtimes.com/ Have a great month with the best of DX!
