CLANDESTINE [broadcasting to No. Korea]. 9780, Radio Furusato no Kaze (presumed) via Taiwan, 1600-1630*, July 11, threshold level/poor. Suddenly at 1601 the full power seemed to be turned on, dramatic improvement in reception. Program of non-descript talking in Japanese, at times almost sounded like a radio drama, 1627 piano music, YL with assume sign-off announcement, seemed to spell out their e-mail address, music till BoH, followed by about a 10 second tone. Overall was fair to good. No jamming or QRM of any kind. (Ron Howard-CA)
