'Ode to Josephine'

Producer Dheera Sujan takes a personal journey back to her childhood in India with her 'memories of a parallel mother'. Josephine Fernandez was her ayah (nanny) and as she shares the smells, sounds and tastes of childhood with her sister, she also hunts for a fish curry recipe to help pass the memories on to her own daughter.

Listen to music of love and death, with songs by Mahler, and Wagner's 'Tristan and Isolde'. After the break it's Brahms' Symphony No 1 in c minor, Op. 68.

Live! at the Concertgebouw 2008 The poetic side of early 20th-century music comes to the fore in this concert. Debussy, Saint-Saens, Tchaikovsky and Scriabin are performed by the Royal

"As long as they have a pitched roof we can put one of the Ridgeblades on top and it will generate electricity that will save carbon emissions and should hopefully earn them money as well." Dean Gregory, the inventor of the Ridgeblade, making money out of thin air on next week's program.
