Twilight Island - CISA ON-018 Team VE3ZF will be active from Twilight Island (CIsA ON-018), Manitoulin Island district, on 17th and 18th April 2010 in the "Ontario QSO Party".The team will consist of Val VE3VO, Max VE3CCN, Evgeny VA3ATT and Igor VE3ZF.

The 144 MHz Spring Sprint is scheduled for April 12. The NAQCC Straight Key/Bug CW Sprint, RSGB 80-Meter Club SSB Championship and CWops Mini-CWT CW Test are all scheduled for April 14. Please see April QST, page 84, and the ARRL and WA7BNM contest web sites for details.

Chad
TT. Phil, F4EGS will be here beginning April 10 and possibly QRV as TT8PK. Activity will be on 40 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY, but limited to his spare time. QSL to home call.

Diego Garcia
Jim, ND9M (VQ9JC) will be back to Diego Garcia (AF-006, WLOTA LH-1645) on or about 9 April for four months. He expects to get the callsign VQ90JC for him to use in late May and early June, CQ WW WPX CW Contest included. QSL via home call, direct or by the bureau. [425 DX News]

Fenwick Island
Page, WA3EOP will be on the road and will try a few hours on Fenwick Island (USi DE002S, Not IOTA, Sussex County), State of Delaware, as WA3EOP/m on 17th April 2010. QRV probably on 20 metres and or maybe 40 metres, from 1830-1930 UTC. Page could be on the OMISS Net on 14.290 MHz and before and after that on the more traditional island frequencies. France
F. A group of operators will be QRV as TM4FFU on April 10 and 11 in commemoration of Radiomaritime Day. Activity is on the HF bands. QSL via operators' instructions.

Iceland
Dervin, PD9DX will once again be active from Iceland (IOTA EU-021, WLOTA LH-2975) as TF/PD9DX from 8-17th April. QRV 80-10 metres using SSB. QSL via his home call, direct or bureau. [OPDX Bulletin]

Reunion Island
FR. Stephane, F5UOW is QRV as FR/homecall until April 17 on 20 meters only and then as TO2R until May 2. Activity will then be on 80 to 10 meters using mstly CW. QSL to home call.

Thailand
HS. A group of operators from the Radio Amateur Society of Thailand will be QRV as E20AS from Chang Island, IOTA AS-125, from April 10 to 16. Activity will be on the HF bands using CW and SSB. QSL via HS1CKC.

Vietnam
A group of operators will be active as 3W6C from Con Co Island (AS-185), Vietnam, between 10th and 18th April 2010. Uruguay
Look for special event station CV7G to be active 17-19th April 2010 in commemoration of "The Landing of 33 Oriental in Agraciada Beach" (19 April 1825). QRV 40 and 20 metre, phone only. The Treinta y Tres Orientales (Thirty-Three Easterners) was a militant revolutionary group led by Juan Antonio Lavalleja against the Empire of Brazil. Their actions culminated in the foundation of modern Uruguay. They became famous by the name of the Treinta y Tres Orientales when, in 1825, they began an insurrection for the independence of Oriental Province--a historical territory encompassing modern Uruguay and part of modern Brazilian Rio Grande do Sul--from Brazilian control. Wallis and Futuna Islands
FW. Hugh, K6HFA is QRV as FW5X from Wallis, IOTA OC-054, until April 12. Activity is on 30 to 12 meters using CW, SSB and possibly RTTY. QSL to home call.
