9526.87, Voice of Indonesia, 1007-1010., Stopped on this frequency to check on VOI, and found just a carrier. No audio was heard. This time slot is suppose to be the English program. At 1009, the program pops up in with English news about Indonesian politics. Very good signal. (Chuck Bolland, FL)

9800, Trans World Radio. Had a fair signal on TWR relay via Monte Carlo. Last night (this morning) beginning at 0640 interval signal and 0645 sign-on. SINPO 24111 up to 34333 at best. Program Viewpoint, discussing gospel and Matthew Chapter 24. Program in English, wrote reception report to TWR Europe-Austria technical address. Monaco is a new country for me, so I was very pleased. 5930, Radio Rossii, Pet/Kam. No wonder I did not hear them on 5920 yesterday! April 27 found them on this new frequency at 1246, distinctive poor audio/modulation (Ron Howard, Asilomar Beach,CA/Cumbre DX)

5940, Radio Rossii, 0950-1005. Few comments in Russian from a male, then into music which seemed to be semi-classical. Lots of splatter from WWCR program on 5935 kHz. Music lasts until 0957, followed by additional announcer comments. (Chuck Bolland, FL)

Solomon Islands
5020, SIBC, 1143-1201.* English with local religious program about Christian values presented by Seventh-Day Adventists (sounded like local accent). Religious song to 1156: "devotional" and a prayer (speaker with British accent). SIgn-off announcement at 1159, with frequencies ("This is the Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation") to national anthem. Signal almost fair, but with some interference from 5025. Open carrier usually continues on for a long time (Ron Howard, Asilomar Beach, CA/Cumbre DX)

Suriname
4989.98, Radio Apintie, 0945-1000. Can hear two individuals in comments. Believe the language is Dutch, can't be sure. Tried to pull out more details using the following receivers: WinRadio, WJ HF1000, and the NRD545 all on the same antenna. The NRD545 did a better job allowing the signal to be heard almost at 100 percent, but it was still poor. At 0954 canned promos heard. (Chuck Bolland, FL)
