5019.87, SIBC, Honiara, 0810, Dec 20. Just above threshold, and at 1159, Dec 20, played the National hymn anthem at 11.59:48 signing off, midst on transmitter cut-off, much stronger of S=8 signal down under at a remote receiver in Queensland, Australia. (Bueschel)

6080, SIBC, Honiara, 0943-0950, Dec 14. Domestic news, frequency of this channel is correct, SINPO 24222. (Wagai)

9545, SIBC/Radio Happy Islands, Honiara, 0845-0855, Jan 04. Station ID, popular song, from good qualities of broadcasting. I think this channel is broadcast by new transmitter as other DX'ers think, SINPO35433. (Wagai).

Heard on exactly 9545.000 with S=9+10dB level on remote receiver in Australia, Dec 31. (Bueschel). Also heard at 0900-1327, Dec 31. Reactivated with New Year’s program in English of soft pops and island music, conch shell blowing and advertisement. At 0911 "Feliz Navidad" to religious talk mentioning God many times and Amens. At 0927 mention of Solomon Islands and same religious music. Promo mentioning Radio Happy Isles and phone number at 0928. Holiday greeting from a religious store. At 0930:25 nice ID and mention of national radio and upcoming "Countdown" by live studio male DJ. Getting very fady after 0920. Good signal 0952-1000 nearly 100% copy with New Years Eve lottery/ drawing program with Joan and Paul hosts (Paul drawing and Joan announcing the winners). Conch shell blowing and ID announcement then into news. Still on at 1100 and 1327 but interference from China on 9540 and splatter from Cuba 9550. (Valko/HCDX). Also heard in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and England at 0810-1045, Jan 01, 02, 03, 04 and 05, (and 1535-1600 on Dec 31), ABBA’s Happy New Year, oldies and country music. Talk by two men in English (?). Good signal, but splashes on Saturday/Sunday from Sound of Hope on 9540,.  jammed by CNR-1! (Eriksson, Green, Nilsson, Petersen and Ritola)
