QSL Report: December 2014

Countdown of the Season
The Christmas countdown is upon us. Amid the last-minute mad dash of shopping and decorating your abode, take some time to enjoy seasonal programming from shortwave radio.
Choral music, dramas, religious services, and old time radio shows dominate the bands during this season. This is also a time of nostalgia for me.
Favorite stations have said goodbye to shortwave, while others, despite the odds, are going strong. Shortwave has not breathed his last breath. Far from it. There is still much to hear and enjoy.

The holidays also present an added bonus for QSLing. While you listen to your favorite programs, consider preserving them with a reception report to the station. This is an excellent opportunity to remember your favorite stations during this most blessed of seasons.

Thank you ...
Special thanks this month to Artur Fernández Llorella for his extensive contribution of European free radio email contacts, and copies of his colorful QSL cards. Do you have QSL information or scanned QSL cards you'd like to share with our world blog readers ? Contributions are always welcomed at w4gvh at frontier .com

Several QSL cards are available for Adventist World Radio Wavescan program. Send your AWR and KSDA reception reports for Wavescan to: Box 29235, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229 USA or send your program details to; wavescan@AWR.org
