If you assumed QSLing was a dying art, the premier edition of QSL Report 2.0 will change your mind. If you’re new to this game, QSLing, which began in amateur radio as an acknowledgment of a received contact among operators, evolved to listeners verifying other radio reception. Despite new QSLing trends, and evolving to predominantly electronic verifications, QSLing continues to thrive across the globe.
QSL Report 2.0, is a relaunch from my previous QSL Report column, in Monitoring Times magazine. Like its predecessor, I will cover trends, news, what worked (and didn’t) special event QSLs, and verifications from mediumwave, FM, shortwave, pirate radio, utility, longwave and amateur radio.
Each month’s edition will be a collaboration of current QSL information gathered from monthly newsletters, radio clubs, websites, and contributors, posted in one easy-to-read edition.
