RTBF International celebrates 20 years in Kinshasa
RTBF International (RTBFi), the external service of the French-speaking community in Belgium, announces on its website:
“The French Community of Belgium celebrates this autumn 20 years of presence in Kinshasa. To mark this occasion, RTBFi launches, from September 30, 2006, two weekly programmes for central Africa, both broadcast on Saturdays: a news magazine centered on Congo and the area of the Great Lakes between 0830 and 0900, and a musical programme between 1800 and 2000.”
It’s not clear whether these times are UTC or local time. RTBFi broadcasts on shortwave 9970 kHz.
