Special Thanksgiving radio programming

Thanksgiving will be here in a few days, so now is the time to mark your calendar for this special broadcasts.

The City Folk Thanksgiving Festival
Wednesday, November 22 and Thursday, November 23
New York, NY—An annual New York City Thanksgiving tradition, WFUV’s City Folk Thanksgiving Feastival will air this year on Wednesday, November 22 (from 7:00 PM – midnight) and Thursday, November 23 (from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM). Over the course of the two days, WFUV will dig into its 2006 archives to present exclusive concerts and live in-studio performances by artists like Beth Orton, The Magic Numbers, Sonya Kitchell and Citizen Cope. The station will also give thanks with its traditional broadcast of "Alice’s Restaurant" by Arlo Guthrie on Thursday at noon. The City Folk Thanksgiving Feastival airs on WFUV (90.7 FM) in New York City and www.wfuv.org around the world. A schedule of this year’s Feastival follows. All start times are approximate.
