Australia
All three Northern Territory Sce stations on 120 meter band clearlyaudible on Oct 23 at 1100-1115 UTC, which is 1800-1815 local time, with2310 VL8A the strongest (333),followed by 2325 VL8T and 2485 VL8K theweakest (232). Next morning, Oct 24 at 2200 UTC, which is 0500 UT local time, all three60 meter band stations audible with 4835 & 4910 kHz in \\ but 5025 kHz carryingseparate program. Belarus
[c.f. bc-dx # 832] Radio Station Belarus heard past couple ofdays on new 6090, 7360 and 7390 kHz with German at 2000-2100, then Englishat 2100-2300 UTC. Quite weak on 7390 but very strong on both 6090 and 7360 here.(Dave Kenny-UK, BrDXC-UK Nov 6) [plus distorted 7420 too, wb.]

Bulgaria
Radio Bulgaria wide splatter signal on 7400 (7370-7430 range) thismorning Nov 8th, German 0630 UT. Spanish service at 0700-0730 UT appeared this morning on 11600 kHz insteadof registered 7200 kHz. \\ 9500 kHz. (wb, wwdxc BC-DX Nov 8)

China
Chanjiang Maritime Security Information Center, established in2004, is broadcasting news and information to the ships on Chanjiang riverby internet and shortwave. Their shortwave broadcasting is aired at 1345-1420 UTC on 8794 kHz USB with information on water levels, water routes,weather, and safety in Chinese. 8794 kHz is probably over Nanjing CoastalRadio. I received PFC QSL after 40 days for my reception report in Chineseenclosing 10 yuan bill. QSL signer was Ms.Qing Wang. She also noticed mewith E-mail and S-mail in Japanese! 9494.76 Today noted for the first time after summer prop breakthe Abkhazia-Georgia separatists area Radio in Russian, tiny at S=1-2level on odd 9494.76 kHz, but well ahead of poor WYFR co-ch even 9495.00kHz. (wb, wwdxc BC-DX Nov 7)


Indonesia
FM. Eight years after the downfall of Suharto it seems thatthe use of languages in media is being liberalized. Here in Bandung thereis one FM station broadcasting entirely in Chinese. This is not anoverseas relay of some sorts, since it carries local place names andproducts. Especially the use of Chinese in public was totally banned underSuharto, now Chinese characters appear in printed adverts and onsignboards of shops. Also, there is at least one FM station broadcastingentirely in Bahasa Sunda, the west Javan regional language, quite distinctfrom BI. Radio Kuwait 17530 missed the total schedule for IBB Pa/Da at extended 0430-1030 UT via Kuwait tx site. (wb, wwdxc BC-DX Nov 7)

Lithuania/Iran
7545 IRIB Tehran in Italian language replaced now 11515by 7545 kHz via Sitkunai relay in the morning service at 0630-0730 UT,Suuuuper signal S=9+40dB in Germany. \\ Kamalabad 13620 and 15085 kHz.Noted already in Spain in last week, and came across again this morning.(wb, wwdxc BC-DX Nov 8)

Malaysia
5030 at 1539 UT on Nov 6. For the past few mornings I'venoticed a relatively strong cochannel under CNR1 China. I presuming thismust be RTM Sarawak. Sometimes gets up to almost the level of CNR1 beforefading down again. Nothing noted, by the way, of PCA on 4755.26 lately (I had good audio fromthem a month ago). Very little action on the SW bands, so I'm confining mylistening to mostly on the MW bands for TA and TP reception (which hasbeen a fantastic season). (Walt Salmaniw-BC-CAN, DXplorer Nov 6)

Nigeria
[tent] 9690 noted an UNID station, just above threshold, butcouldn't even recognize the language. Aoki list shows Ikorodu NIG at 0800-1630 UT, S=1 signal. Maybe the path from AF into Blackpool is over themaritime and that particular signal is much stronger at your home ?(wb, wwdxc BC-DX Nov 7)

Serbia
International Radio Serbia will add a 30-minute show in Serbianto Europe 1100-1130 UTC on 7240 kHz via Stubline 10 kW as of today Monday,November 05, 2007. Today I phoned Belgrade and also asked them about the QSL policy, and I'vebeen told in several months, when the website http://www.radioyu.org/ will beredesigned, they will be sending only electronic QSLs.(Dragan Lekic-SER, wwdxc BC-DX Nov 5)(
