Mighty KBC continues to rock in 2008
Thanks to contributor Brian Bagwell for news that the Mighty KBC - Rocking Over the Ocean - will continue their presense on shortwave daily from January 1, 2008 at 2200-2300 UTC on 6265 kHz, from former 6235 kHz.
Eric van Willegen from KBC Radio states: "Radio Administration has just informed us that they refuse to authorize us to use the frequency of 6235 kHz, they say the frequency is too close to some protected frequency of 6225 kHz. The Mighty KBC will move to 6265 kHz, starting the first of January 2008."
