Veterans Day 2008

Since 1919, Americans have observed November 11 as a day to honor the sacrifices of those who have fought to protect our freedom. Originally called Armistice Day, November 11 was declared by President Wilson, as a day of remembrance following the end of hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in World War I on November 11, 1918.

This Veterans Day, we honor those men and women of all services that are serving throughout the world, those veterans that have served and those that have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We thank and honor you for the sacrifices you have made for us.
