Apologies to those of you who were tuned in to last Sunday’s
2330-2400 UTC broadcast on 7780 kHz. A few seconds after the broadcast began,
another WRMI audio program came on and stayed for the rest of the half hour. I
heard later from Rafael in Colombia that he heard Shortwave Radiogram on 5010
kHz, another of WRMI’s frequencies. WRMI was having a difficult day: Lightning
in the area disrupted some of their systems.
You can still listen to program 61, and decode from the audio,
thanks to videos provided by Ralf in Germany (Saturday 1600 UTC) and Scott in Ontario
(Monday 0800 UTC – thanks to Scott for tuning in early Monday after the missing
Sunday 2330 UTC show). The audio archive is maintained by Mark in
the UK, and analysis is provided by Roger in Germany.
This weekend, Shortwave Radiogram will consist of our favorite
combination of MFSK32, MFSK64, and MFSK128, with eight MFSK images and
some interesting news stories.
Here is the
lineup for Shortwave Radiogram, program 62, 24-27 August 2018, in MFSK
modes as noted:
1:37 Program preview
