New U.S. and Canadian MW Slogans List complete

From the IRCA Group.io Group - this amazing compilation of US and Canadian MW slogans - is incredibly useful when we're struggling through the static on this side of the Atlantic.

Here's the post from that group:
IRCA Slogans as of December 14, 2023
 (K Krist/BDXC)

Now available.

4,752 stations with slogans.

If a station doesn't appear this indicates I don't have the station slogan. Since silent stations come and go, seemingly, quicker than I can update the list, silent stations remain in the list until they are actually deleted from the FCC list.
Acknowledgments are given on the final page of the Slogans List.

The "Recent MW Station Contacts for Reception Report Verifications" link to the list is also available on the same webpage. The Verifications page was updated on November 29, 2023.

As always, please let me know of additions, corrections, problems, etc.

IRCA-Mexican Log, 23rd edition, now available

IRCA Mexican Log, 23rd Edition (Fall 2020)

The IRCA MEXICAN LOG lists all AM stations in Mexico by frequency, including call letters, state, city, day/night power, slogans, schedule in UTC/GMT, formats, networks and notes.

The call letter index gives call, frequency, city and state. The city index (listed by state, then city) includes frequency, call and day/night power. The transmitter site index (listed by state, then city) tabulates the latitude and longitude of transmitter sites.

Also, in this edition, there is a spread sheet with links to web sites, live broadcasts and facebook page of many of the Mexican stations. This is an indispensable reference for anyone who hears Mexican radio stations.

The 2020-2021 Mexican Log .pdf is posted on the IRCA website for all to download. The link is: https://www.ircaonline.org/editor_upload/File/2020-21_IRCA_Mexican_Log.pdf
Thanks to Tim Hall for his dedicated work on this.

We welcome your comments, suggestions, additions, and corrections regarding this list. Please write to Mexican Log editor Tim Hall at TimHall1@gmail.com. Thank you

Mexico AM Radio Update via IRCA

Image result for mexico am radio

Courtesy of the IRCA (http://IRCAonline.org) DX Monitor V56-#35, DX Worldwide column by Bruce Portzer.

MEXICO: The following additional stations have told me that their AMs have been turned off: 550-XEQW-YUC, 580-XEHP-TAMA, 670-XELH-NAY, 680-XEFJPUEB, 710-XEBL-SIN, 780-XETS-CHIA, 840-XEFG-GJTO, 970-XEZAZ-ZAC, 1380-XEVD-COAH.

The following stations have told me that their AMs are still on the air: 580-XEFI-CHIH, 820-XEBM-SLP, 1380-XETP-VER. XETP-1380 was a surprise.

I've monitored their web stream and thankfully they play a different national anthem than the other surviving station on 1380 (XECO) so I will be trying for them at the Border Inn this year.

The Radio SLP Facebook page has confirmed that there are currently only 5 AMs remaining on the air in the state of San Luis Potosí: XEWA-540, XEANT-770, XEBM-820, XEIE-1030, and XEXQ-1190. The 2 new CPs, XEPBSD-620 and XESLEP-710 (replaces the old XESMR which has moved to FM) are not on the air yet. (Tim Hall)
