Hello friends,
I am no longer inserting images into these weekly emails because AOL Mail
(which now maintains emails from the verizon.net domain) does not seem to like
them. A good place to see decoded images and other results is the Twitter
account @SWRadiogram -- or if you are not on Twitter, https://twitter.com/swradiogram
.

Also see Roger's analysis of last weekend's Shortwave Radiogram, IBC, KBC, and Broad Spectrum Radio. And @Hal_Fi in California compared reception on 5850 and 7730 kHz Monday at 0800-0830 UTC using two (!) IC-7300's on the same antenna, thus controlling for date, time, location, conditions, antenna and receiver.
The first Shortwave Radiogram of the weekend is today (Friday) at 2030-2100 UTC on 7780 and 9455 kHz. This particular transmission lately has limited range, with best results in the northeast USA (and probably also the Canadian Maritimes). Elsewhere, try to access an SDR in New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and nearby states and provinces.
This weekend's show will again be a combination of MFSK32 and MFSK64, with time for a surprise mode after the closing announcements.
Here is the lineup for Shortwave Radiogram, program 46, 4-7 May 2018, in MFSK modes as noted:
1:31 MFSK32: Program preview
2:38 Recycling oyster shells*
10:49 Scotland sets minimum price for alcohol*
18:02 MFSK64: Deutsche Welle's 65th anniversary*
24:17 Tornado image*
26:41 MFSK32: Closing announcements (and surprise mode)
