Our
August 14 tests of FTIOM & UBMP on 9670 were more successful than the prior
week's, but we want to try a Sunday morning test before making any decisions
about September for that frequency for our programs.
Our August 21 test transmissions are being rescheduled to August 23 as follows:
From the Isle of Music: Sunday, August 23 from 0400-0500 UTC
Uncle Bill's Melting Pot: Sunday, August 23 from 0500-0600 UTC
There is a fair chance that at least UBMP will be listenable in parts of the east coast of NAm and an excellent chance that both will be well heard in western Russia. Incidentally, the program that will be on after us at 0600 UTC, Radio Waves International, is a very pleasant music program that came to our attention during our previous tests.
We will be continuing on 6070 under any scenario as long as propagation permits, if/when it goes to a long skip later this year we might adjust then.
