To celebrate the Commonwealth Games this summer, the Stirling & District Amateur Radio Society (GM6NX) are hosting a special event station, GA14CG, at their club premises, approximately 25 miles northeast of the city of Glasgow. The station will be run by members of the Stirling & DARS along with other clubs in the surrounding area. Rotuma-3D2/R, Antoine, 3D2AG, will once again be active as 3D2AG/p from Rotuma (OC-060). Activity will be 40-6 meters using CW and SSB. This will be a one-man operation while also working on climate change projects, so he will not always be on the air. He will also be using solar power during the whole operation and running barefoot at 100 watts. He still states, "Now looking for spare parts for my 14-years-old ICOM 706-MKII, which is faulty (no TX). If anyone can help please contact me, so that I can be operational on 6m from Rotuma.
