ALBANIA/GERMANY/MONACO Trans World Radio is no longer transmitting on shortwave from Albania. English broadcasts 0800-0850 weekdays, 0815-0850 Saturday and 0745-0920 Sundays are now on 9800 from Monte Carlo and 6105 from Werchatal. The 1395 broadcasts from Albania continue, now at 1910-2145. GERMANY Radio Gloria International heard October 28 1300-1400 with good signal on 5965 via T-Systems Nauen/Julich with programming in German, registered to MV Baltic Radio Sundays only, who broadcast with their own programmes on the first Sunday of each month. SAINT HELENA Radio St. Helena is celebrating its special double anniversary year 2007 with a very special Radio St. Helena Day 2007 world-wide shortwave broadcast. The year 2007 marks a double anniversary for Radio St. Helena, the 40th anniversary of broadcasting for Radio St. Helena, and the 10th shortwave transmission anniversary. On Saturday 15 December 2007 we will transmit as follows: 1730-1815 New Zealand, 1815-1900 India, 1900-2015 Japan, 2015-2145 Europe, 2145-2245 North America East, 2245-2230 North America West, 2330-0015 South America North and 0015-0100 South America Central/South. We will be transmitting on 11092.5 in USB with 1000 Watts and using a 3-element monoband directional antenna. There will be a very special and beautiful full-colour QSL card issued by Radio St. Helena for this special transmission.
