Russia will broadcast four radio channels in DRM format

The commission headed by Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev approved the “Conception for the Development of Television and Radio Broadcasting in Russia (2008-2015)” yesterday. It will now be forwarded to the government in the coming days.

We note with interest that the report in Kommersant says ”In addition, four radio channels will be available in the digital DRM format. They will include Mayak, Yunost and Radio Rossii.” The identity of the fourth channel is not mentioned in the report.
