The Polish Radio SA company and the Egyptian Radio & Television Union (ERTU) are to sign a co-operation agreement. One of the signatories for Polish Radio, Board Member Michal Dylewski, says the new agreement aims to improve co-operation between the Polish and Egyptian national broadcasters, as reported by the Radio Information Agency (IAR).
Under the new co-operation, PR and ERTU will popularise each country’s culture and tourist attractions, inform their listeners about important historical facts and sporting events, as well as exchange radio programs and help Egyptian journalists accredited in Poland and vice versa.
“The agreement will be signed for three years. For the Polish Radio, it will also be signed by another Board Member Jerzy Targalski and the Egyptian side will be represented by the First Undersecretary from the Egyptian Media Ministry, Samy Said. The document will be signed at the Polish Radio SA headquarters.
Three weeks ago, Polish Radio signed an initial agreement with Israeli public radio to further cooperation between the two broadcasters, with exchange visits for journalists and programming.
