Regarding the recent absence of the usually widely-heard Radio Free Africa in Tanzania on 1377 kHz, I sent an email to the station last night (3 June) and a guy called Steve promptly replied:
"Hello Tony, Just to confirm that we are still using 1377 kHz; however, maintenance work is currently being conducted. We expect to resume nominal power within the next two weeks. Best regards, Steve"
