Arctic Radio to resume testing

Mauno Ritola on the MWList Io group October 16th and 20th:

Matt King of Arctic Radio reported to me today that, due to improved noise levels and lots of queries about his station, he will start testing on 252 kHz when the antenna setup is completed, probably in a couple of weeks.

He plans to start weekend transmissions on 14 November.

Arctic Radio website:

Test transmissions until further notice from 14th November 2026 and every weekend, 24 hours a day. Power will be 700W only. During this period, the transmitter will be on and off to test various options. Antenna will be a 1.6km wire and the new 21m mast with it's 10m top hat. More exact details will be announced once tests are done.
