THIS FORTNIGHT'S PROGRAM - First broadcast on FRIDAY 16th October by WRMI at 0200 UTC on 5850, and 2000 UTC on 15770, and then Channel 292 on SATURDAY 17th October at 10:00 UTC on 9670 kHz:
Starts with some solo flute by Philipp Telemann, Part of a cello sonata by Rachmaninoff, and the first of a suite of Forgotten Dances by Thomas Adès.
After that, the chamber arrangement of Crisantemi from Puccini, more of the Cello Sonata, and more Forgotten Dances.
The hour ends with The Toreador's Prayer by Joaquin Turina in a version for string orchestra.
