Two new shortwave antennas for Zambia
The Zambian Information Minister, Lieutenant General Ronnie Shikapwasham told parliament on Tuesday that the government last year bought two new shortwave antennas which will enable the national broadcaster, ZNBC, to transmit better radio signal across the country.
A new ZNBC television channel will be launched by June this year. General Shikapwasha said the new channel will start initial transmission in Lusaka and the copperbelt before expanding to other parts of the country.
