Pakistan will change their local time in November 2008

The government of Pakistan has decided to postpone the change of local timings untill the first week of November - so VOA Urdu service will continue to use the present timings and frequencies till the end of A08 schedule period.
The current schedule is :
MW 972 1539 kHz is available at 1300-0100 hrs.
SW service 0000-0100 on 7135 11755 kHz.
SW service 1300-1400 on 9340 15795 kHz.

Pakistan time change affects VOA Urdu

Due to the change to Daylight Saving Time in Pakistan the following changes are effective from tomorrow, 1 June, for the Voice of America’s Urdu service:
MW 972 and 1539 kHz at 1300-0100 (ex-1400-0200) UTC
SW service at 0000-0100 UTC(ex-0100-0200) UTC on 7135 and 11755 kHz
SW service 1300-1400 UTC (ex-1400-1500) UTC on 9340 and 15790 kHz.
