Chess Records Hour welcomes Andrew Loog Oldham Sun 9/9 12:00 pm ET After working at his family’s record label as a young man in Chicago , Marshall Chess went on to work with the Rolling Stones, launching the band’s own label and producing most of their albums in the 1970s. This week Marshall welcomes Andrew Loog Oldham, the band’s original manager and producer who helped define their look and sound in the 1960s. These two generations of Stones associates will compare notes on the band and how the Chess blues sound influenced the British rock scene.
