15400, Radio Station HCJB via Kununurra 1046. Multilingual religious program to English scripture verses as additional reverts to translations, then into Chinese. program closes down in Chinese. Good signal for S-7. (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX. Station to change it's name to Reach Beyond Australia in April-May 2014.

Austria
6155, Radio Ö International. Blue Danube Waltz interval signal to “Radio Austria International” ID in German, English and Spanish. Sign on at 0600 s/on. Poor signal. (Harold Sellers, BC Canada)

Bolivia
4716.702  Radio Yatun Ayllu Yura, Yura, San Antonio de Quijarro, Potosi. 0105. Signal noted weak tiny on S=4-5 level in Germany. (wb, wwdxc BC-DX TopNews)

4716.65  Radio Yatun Ayllu Yura, Yura 0040 to 0055 with music and announcements in Spanish. Fair signal strength for two consecutive days. Noted 0020 to 0030 - weak signal in Spanish. (WWDXC/Top Nx 1154)

5580.2  Radio San Jose, San Jose de Chiquitos 2350 to 0010 UT in Spanish. Deep signal fades observed. (R Wilkner-FL/ DXplorer/Top Nx 1154)

6134.848, Radio Santa Cruz, 1030-1045. Observed at tune newscast read by female announcer to 1034. Quick station ID, followed by music program. Additional Spanish program comments between tunes and " Radio Santa Cruz"  Signal fair with noted interference. (Chuck Bolland, FL)

Botswana
4930, Voice Of America relay via Selebi-Phikwe 0346. English VOA World News already in progress at tune-in. "Today in History" - events that happened on this date, at 0355. Station ID and contact info at 0359. Weak but fairly clear signal.  S-4/5 . (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

Brazil
3365, Radio Cultura, Araraquara 2346. Extended chat from announcer in Portuguese, followed by station's Internet address and station ID at 2358. Schedules show this one off at 0000, but it continues on afterward. Fair signal quality. N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

4755.56, Radio Imaculada Conceicao, (tentative) 1025-1035. Noted announcer in Portuguese with comments, followed by music. Signal was weak with deep fades. No ID heard. (Chuck Bolland, FL).

4875, Radio Difusora Roraima, Boa Vista 0914. Tuned in to male/female's telephone conversation, followed by very good Brazillian music. Several commercial advertisements, ID, and frequency info at 0930. Good signal S-9. (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

970, Radio Itatiaia, Belo Horizonte 2323. Very animated talk from two males in Portuguese, followed by station ID and mentions of Brazil. Musical jingles or ads ?) at 2330. Fair signal noted with interference on same frequency. (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

9645.4, Radio Bandeirantes, 0639. Portuguese programming including Brazilian music. Poor signal quality. (Harold Sellers, BC Canada)

11895, Radio Aparecida, Aparecida SP, 0158. Tuned in to what sounded like a group of people praying, followed by station ID by male in Portuguese at 0200. Many mentions about Brazil. (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

Canary Islands
6245, Horizon FM, Very good signal at 0210. Monitored 1980's rock music and canned ID's in English. Best signal I have heard from them. A solid S8 with little fading and only slight interference. Back on 6255 from 6245 khz. (Stephen Wood, MA/NASWA)

China
4940.00, Voice of Strait, (presumed) 1109-1130. Noted announcr's Chinese program comments (possibly news). At 1112 canned program segment for less than a minute, accompanied with music. Return to announcer's comments. Signal retained fair level. (Chuck Bolland, FL)

5924.915, China National Radio 5. 1128-1145. Observed weak signal with partisans' commenting in Chinese. On the half hour a Chinese station ID. Could only recognize the word "national" as part of the ID.  However, on the frequency of 9410 KHz a parallel broadcast was being presented with good signal. Chinese music segments between spoken breaks. Signal poor on 5924.915 KHz. (Chuck Bolland, FL).

12190, CNR 1, 1030. Lady announcer in Chinese amid very strong signal and numerous parallel frequencies listed for Sound of Hope via Taiwan. Bandscan didn't reveal any other unusual CNR stations, however signal weak above 13 MHz. (Rick Barton, AZ/Cumbre DX)

Clandestine
15155, BBN/Berekah Broadcasting Network Radio targeted to Ethiopia. Station observed signing-on in Amharic at 1900. Channel up from 15150 kHz. fair reception. (David Kernick-UK, intervalsignals.net/WWDXC Top Nx 1154)

9940, Radio Miraya FM, via Kishinev-Grigoriopol 0430. Reggae version of American song "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You".  Musical jingle station ID "Miraya" at 0435. Signal strong but noisy. (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

Colombia
5910, Alcaraván Radio, 0621. Spanish. Station ID and musical ballads. Good. (Harold Sellers, BC Canada)

Djibouti
4780, Radio Djibouti, 0124. Radio Djibouti has been on the air all evening, evening though their schedule doesn't have them signing on until 0300. Arabic recitations for hours. S-8 signal quality. (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

France
7295 kHz, Radio Algerienne, 0600. French sign-on into newscast. Arabic service at 0605. Good signal quality. (Harold Sellers, BC Canada)

Indonesia
3345 RRI Ternate 1437. Excellent reception with a call-in, Ternate mentioned. Some static crashes, along with mild transmitter hum noted. Exact frequency measured as 3344.869 kHz. Occasional RTTY type interference on low side. Hum is intermittent as well. Nice RRI Ternate ID at end of program 14:59:45
followed by lovely Indonesian (almost Polynesian sounding) stringed music to 15:00:50. Subsequent checks noted no sign of them at 14:35. (Walt Salmaniw-BC-CAN, DXplorer/WWDXC Top Nx 1154)

4750.014, RRI Makassar, 1000-1045. Music tune amid just a hint of audio with announcer's voice-overs. Could not distinguish any program details.  At 1016 the Qu'ran is presented for five minutes, followed by program comments in possible Indonesian. Music program from 1028-1040, followed by male announcer's comments (possibly a newscast). Overall signal was poor. (Chuck Bolland, FL)

Iran
11675, VOIRI/IRIB 1435. Russian service with extended talk from announcer. Guitar and piano music at 1500, followed by announcements. Good signal. (Harold Sellers, BC Canada)

Japan
6055.00 Radio Nikkei 1, 1237-1300. At tune in, male/female discussing items about the Internet in Japanese. This format continues during the listening period and onward. Signal strength and quality changed from a good level to a poor level as the time shifted. Signal poor by 1300. (Chuck Bolland, FL).

Kygyz Republic
4820.607  KGR1 Kyrgyz Radio Bishkek. Noted with proper signal in Germany, in our deep night at 0116. Program contained more Russian talk than Kyrgyz in this KGZ morning hour. (wb, wwdxc BC-DX/WWDXC Top Nx) Bishkek Kyrgyzstan still heard on 4820.53 kHz, ex4795 transmitter unit.

4820.53 Kyrgyz R1, Krasnaya Rechka, Bishkek, 0020-0030. Kyrgyz talk with musical interludes - still here {ex4795 kHz}. Interference from China's Xizang on 4820, (SINPO 22222) // 4010 kHz (SINPO 45343). (Anker Petersen-Denmark/DSWCI/DX WIndow/WWDXC Top Nx 1154)

Kuwait
17550, Radio Kuwait 2340. Interesting mix of Middle Eastern music to announcer duo's text. Off abruptly at 0000. Very good signal. (Rick barton,AZ/Cumbre DX)

Malaysia
5965.00,  RTM, Kajang, 1158-1230. Observed some chatter before the hour. Quick rheme style music at 1200, followed by station ID. Newscast presented from male/female duo covering items on Malaysia. At 1215 the news finished and general programming began with music and announcer's comments. Signal good during the entire period. (Chuck Bolland, FL).

Mexico
6184.983, XEPPM Radio Educacion. S=7-8 signal strength, but very low modulation like just above threshold. Observed cello music at 0507. (wb, WWDXC/Top Nx 1154)

Moldova
7460, Radio Payem e-Doost (Bahai), Kishinev-Grigoriopol 0307. Tuned into Farsi song by make artist, followed by very short talk and station ID at 0314. Sign off at 0315 . Good signal. S-7. (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

Mongolia
12014.9, Voice of Mongolia 1508. Reasonably good reception if not for the more powerful Voice of Korea on 12015 kHz exactly. Listed in Japanese at this time. Obviously need to use LSB to best hear them. (Walt Salmaniw-BC-CAN, DXplorer/ WWDXC Top Nx 1154)

Nigeria
7255, Voice Of Nigeria, via Ikorodu 2142. African style music with station ID from announcer in Fulfulde at 21:47. Continued Addtional chat from announcer at 2152. Strong signl as S-9. (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

North Korea
15180, Voice Of Korea, Kujang 0407. Tuned in to the usual opening march style music. Station ID and North Korean news broadcast by male announcer in English at 0410. Signal weak and noisy. best in LSB S-3. (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

Oman
15140, Radio Sultanate of Oman, 1406. Western pop music program to ID by DJ Frank as “Saturday Matinee.” Station ID at 1418 ID to announcement of call to prayer according to something in Muscat. Return to pop songs. (Harold Sellers, BC Canada)

Peru
4774.951, Radio Tarma, 1014-1030. fair signal with no interences observed during steady music including IDs. Comments between tunes by a male.  ".... Radio Tarma ...".  Immediately back to music. (Chuck Bolland, FL)

4809.995, Radio Logos, 1007-1030. Noted at tune-in steady Spanish music. Best heard using USB mode with the usual interference on the upper side of the signal. Music continues during this period while the signal remains at a fair level with interference.   (Charles Bolland, FL)

4810, Radio Logos, Chazuta 1050. Started out with Andes style music,  followed by full station ID at 1051. Brief pop style music interlude, then another station ID and long talk by announcer in Spanish. Good signal with severe CODAR interference. (N RUmple, NC/Cumbre DX)

Philippines
9900, Voice of America relay station via Tinang. Very good signal which included an English language lesson. (Rick Barton, AZ/Cumbre DX)

15560, Voice Of America relay station via Tinang 0336. Two lady's in Chinese, one on remote possibly a news broadcast. Time pips and station ID at 0400. Signal very weak signal but clear.  (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

Singapore
15285, BBC via Kranji 1129. Station ID by male announcer in English, followed by news headlines at the 113. Another ID and a preview of the upcoming programs at 1133. Fair signal. S-4/5. (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

Solomon Islands
9545, SIBC, 0701. English service with male/female duo with announcements and promos. Preclude to news as, “Good evening. S.I.B.C. news…” followed by news headlines and news in depth. Fair signal quality. (Harold Sellers, BC Canada)

Sudan
7205, Sudan Radio via Al Aitahab 0411. Tuned  into announcer's Arabic newscast. Possible ID at 0420 with several mentions of Sudan. Off the air at 0424 UTC.  Good signal S-7 signal. (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

Taiwan
7445, Radio Taiwan Internatinal 1120. Andrew Ryan and his lady co-host. Best reception of RTI on this skedule in a long time. CNR1 as jammer usually comes on early and blots out the sked and contact info near 1200. Very good signal. (Rick Barton, AZ/Cumbre DX)

Thailand
9535, Radio Thailand via Udon Thani. Newscast in progress with male/female duo in English. Commercial for Bangkok Airways at 2040, followed  by station ID. News continues. (N Rumple, NC/Cumbre DX)

Uzbekistan
11695, NHK/Radio Japan, 1403. English service including newscast. Fair signal quality. Parallel signal on 11925 via Palau barely audible under splatter. (Harold Sellers, BC Canada)

Vatican City State
11625, Vatican Radio 0628. Station interval signal prior to sign-on at 0630 and notation as, "this is the Africa Service of Vatican Radio.” Upcoming program lineup. Very good signal //13765 fair quality. (Harold Sellers, BC Canada)
