Last week's broadcast Monday at 0800-0830 UTC was not transmitted
on 7730 kHz. WRMI informs me that the issue has been resolved. This frequency
is good to Australia and New Zealand, among other places. At 0800 UTC, WRMI's
other frequency, 5850 kHz, was well heard in much of North America, and I even
received it using an SDR in Japan. The signal, not surprisingly, was weak. So,
hoping that 5850 reaches Japan again this weekend, the show will start with
some Japanese text in the Olivia 64-2000 mode.
Among videos of last weekend's broadcast are this one by COMMS partisan,
Sunday 2330 UTC, with narration explaining the concept. And an excerpt by radio
no koe, using a receiver in Qatar (Saturday 1625 UTC). For the entire half
hour, see the videos by Ralf
in Gemany (Saturday 1600 UTC) and Scott in Ontario (Sunday 2330 UTC). For audio, visit Mark
Hirst's archive.
