This week's program starts with piano music from Alexander Scriabin followed by some fifteenth-century polyphony. The piece España next - by a Frenchman - Emmanuel Chabrier who composed it after holidaying in Spain.
Then the Emerson Quartet play Schumann, and the Royal Concertgebouw follow up with part of a Strauss Oboe concerto that he composed in his eighties after WWll.
A song next - the aria Depuis de Jour from the opera Louise by Charpentier. We end with some more woodwind - part of Weber's Clarinet Concerto No. 2.
Channel 292 can be pulled live off the internet if the reception is poor in your location. Easy to find their site with a google search.
