Here are some broadcast tips based on radio listening made at the end of July.
India
Local radio stations from the All India Radio Net were heard on July 27th with a common identification signal at 00.15 hours, followed by an anthem and identification in Hindi and English. The frequencies were 4800 KHz from the site Hyderabad, 4920 KHz from Chennai and 5010 KHz from Trivantram.
Portugal
Radio Portugal International was noted on weekends only, from 19.00 to 20.00 hours on unannounced frequency of 9820 KHz.
Ukraine
Once again in the last weeks a new schedule of Radio Ukraine International English language broadcasts: from 00.00, from 19.00 and from 22.00 hours on 7440 KHz, and from 07.00 hours on 11620 KHz
Czech Republic
Azattyq Radio with a programme in Russian language was heard on July 26th from 01.35 hours on the additional frequency 9760 KHz. The studio of this radio is based in Radio Liberty in Prague and the broadcast is beamed to Kazakhstan.
Iran
Two radio stations with different programmes were observed to broadcasting to Iran and both named Voice of Iranian Kurdistan on July 27th, at 03.00 hours – one on 3927 KHz and another one on 4881 KHz.
Monaco
Monaco Radio with a weather report in French and English language was noted at a new broadcast time – 15.00 hours on 8728 KHz in USB mode.
Morocco
Radio Medi One was heard on 9575 KHz with a strong level of signal but with poor sound on 171 KHz as a parallel frequency at 01.45 hours.
Caucasus/Georgia
Abkhaz Radio from Sukhumi was heard on 18th and 19th of July at 04.55 hours after the close down of Radio Exterior de Espana and on July 26th from 08.00 hours with news in Russian language – all on 9535 KHz.
