Ireland-Olivier, ON4EI, will once again be active from Ireland (EU-115, WLOTA 2484) as EI8GQB and EI1A between 1st March and 2nd April. He plans to operate from his caravan using green energy on 160-10 metres. Olivier will activate the EI1A callsign as a Single-Op/All-Band/Low-Power entry in the ARRL International DX SSB (March 7-8th), Russian DX (March 21-22nd) and CQWW

Vatican City State-Operators Francesco IK0FVC, Roberto IK0PRG, Robert S53R and Dane S53T will be active as HV0A from Vatican City to March 2, 2015. Activity during the CQWW 160M SSB Contest and some CW activity outside contest, focus on the low bands. QSL via IK0FVC (direct only) and LoTW. [NG3K]

St. Croix-John, KK9A will once again activate the USVI Contest Club, Gallows Bay Station, Christiansted, island of St. Croix (USi VI002S, WLOTA 2477), US Virgin Islands (NA-106), from 2-9 March, 2015. Activity will include a Single-Op/All-Band entry in the ARRL International DX SSB Contest (7-8 March). Outside the contest, John will be QRV holiday style on the HF

Pohnpei-Ken, JR1JYR will be active from the island of Pohnpei (IOTA  OC-010), F.S.M., as V63JYR between 5-11th March. QRV on 20-10m, including WARC, mainly CW with some SSB and Digital. Madeira-Once again Rosel, DL3KWR and Hardy, L3KWF will be active as CT9/DL3KWR and CT9/DL3KWF from Madeira (AF-014, DIP MA-001, PIP MD-001, WLOTA 0053) from 5 March to 1 April. Suriname-Peter, PA1LP will be active as PZ5LP from Nieuw Nickerie, Nickerie district, Suriname, between 5th March and 5th June, 2015. QRV on 80-10 metre SSB and Digital modes, using FT-857 and 100 Watts with G5RV with LDG Z100 tuner. QSL via home call, direct and eQSL. [DX-World]

Fort Clark Springs Festival 0808-0812, AA5KC, Brackettville, Texas. Las Moras Amateur Radio Club. 28.400 21.300 14.200 7.200. Certificate. Las Moras Amateur Radio Club, PO Box 122, Brackettville, TX 78832. Commemorating Old Fort Clark. A US Army Fort built to protect the stage route from San Antonio to El Paso, TX. The Fort was decommissioned right after WWII. Famous commanders here were Jonathan Wainright and George Patton among many others. Today Fort Clark Springs is a community that occupies the old fort. Many residents have served in the military and the fort continues to honor its past each year with the Fort Clark Fesitval.

March 6-9
Flinders Island-Operators Tim VK4HFO, Chris VK3FY and Christian EA3NT will be active from Flinders Island (OC-195, WWFF VKFF-175, Grid Loc. QE49), Bass Strait, Tasmania State, as VK7FG between 6-9th March, 2015. They will run three stations using yagi beams and amps on 160-6 metres depending on propagation. Flinders Island is good for the Antarctic Challenge Award. QSL

Grand Caymand Island-The party of Leena OH2BE and Martti OH2BH will continue their study tour to Grand Cayman Island (NA-016, WLOTA 1042), Cayman Islands, where Martti will air ZF2BH in the ARRL DX SSB Contest (7-8 March) along with Joe, ZF2AH (W6VNR).
