Annual Christmas Eve NDR 'Greetings On-Board' program
On Christmas Eve 2022, NDR Info will send Christmas messages to seafarers all over the world. Families and friends can wish their loved ones a Merry Christmas in the traditional show "Greetings on board"!
What would Christmas Eve be without the NDR Info show "Greetings on Board"? It is a long tradition of Norddeutscher Rundfunk to greet seafarers on ships all over the world for Christmas.
"Greetings on Board": How to receive the broadcast
Service: "Greetings on board" from NDR Info can be received via VHF frequencies, shortwave, DAB+ and live streams. The shortwave frequencies for 2022 have now arrived!
It’s always been an entertaining four hours, even for non-German-speaking listeners. The broadcast last year was reduced to three hours (with the Christmas Mass being cut from the broadcast) and further suffered a couple of technical issues, so we hope that this year’s broadcast will be trouble-free.
The Broadcast will run 3-4 hrs in period 1800-2300 on 24 December.
Programming scheduled as:
registered with HFCC for these hours, but note that not all of them will necessarily be used.
