(Shazam didn't ID the musician), contact info. Including email harmonybarnsessions@... given, 0357 end of program and asking for donations, postal address, saying goodbye. 0359, ID, into a program telling their “truth” about a wide range of topics. 5919.08-.01v MYANMAR. Myanmar Radio, Naypyidaw, 1.11.24. on new frequency and thanks to Ron H. for the tip! Noted here at 1216 tune in with mellow pop mx with YL singing in Burmese with keyboard backing. Already a fair signal, which is very good for so early -- easily a half hour or more before morning peak time here. Wonder what they are doing here ex-5915? CRI in Russian noted on 5915 but the signal was slightly weaker than Myanmar on 5919v. Rechecked at 1310 and what a lovely signal! Playing pleasant Burmese pop vocals, YL with piano. But now on 5919.01. Sweet voiced YL at 1314 announcements. (Perry – Il)

9385 THAILAND. R Thailand, Jan 11, 1215z. an early evening broadcast to SE Asia in English via Udon Thani with 250 kW at 154º using a 4 wide x 6 high curtain. The audio was cut off in mid-sentence at 12:29:30. A quick retune to 9940 found a carrier coming on air with an ID in English of “Radio Thailand World Service” followed by a program in Mandarin. I was surprised to notice no discernable signal strength change from the 154º azimuth to the new 30º azimuth. Udon Thani to central Texas is about 8800 miles at 22º. (Lenamon, Tx)
9620 INDIA. AKASHVANI, 1910 to 2000, 08 Jan, ARABIC. Typical Indian music with something that sounded like news at 1925. Western music up to IS at 1928. French sign on by a woman. Presumed news and then music at 1945. The signal deteriorated by 2000 so I couldn't tell if the English 'Spotlight' was aired. SINPO 33333. (Pavick - BC)
