Bolivia
Radio Loyola 5996.35, 0915-0925. Spanish. Local time check to ads and local programming. (A Slaen, Argentina).

Radio Pio Doce (presumed) 5954.4, 1021-1036. Spanish religious programming. Poor signal with usual splatter via WYFR 5950 kHz, eventually becoming unbearable. (S Barbour, NH).

Radio Yura 4716.66, 0115-0139.* Spanish announcements to local Bolivian music. Closing announcements at 0138 to station sign-off. (B Alexander, PA).

Radio San Miguel (presumed) 4699.4, 1011-1030. Spanish conversation under QRN floor and signal fading - completely out by 1100. (S Barbour, NH)

China
Gannan PBS (presumed) 3990, 1304-1320. Chinese announcements to music bridge at 1312 - for generally poor signal conditions. (J Wilkins, CO)

CNR-1 4460, 1054-1105. Mandarin by male/female announcers at tune-in. Time pips to ID and CNR jingle music at 1100 followed by presumed news headlines and ads/promos to tune-out. Poor signal as was // 4800. (S Barbour, NH).

Voice of Jinling-Nanjing (presumed) 5860, 1156-1202. Mandarin text to instrumnetal music at tune-in. Poor signal with het from co-channel Radio Farda via Kuwait. (S Barbour, NH).

Clandestine
North Korea-Echo of Hope 6003, 1348-1410.+ Monologue from male announcer to 1401, followed by new program segment with male/female in discussion. Pop music break at 1423. Very good signal with 6000/6005 kHz splatter; // 3985 and 6348, both fair but jammed. ( Wilkins, CO)

Cuba
Radio Nacional de Venezuela 6060, 1101-1123. Intro in Spanish, mostly news from students at Central University of Venezuela marching against Chavez. Signla fair-poor but noticed no QEM from Sichuan PBS-2 and only slight splatter from Radio Nikkei on 6055, signal improving after 1117. Also noted in English on subsequent monitoring. ® Howard, CA)

Dominican Republic
Radio Amanacer (presumed) 6025.04, 2309-2332. Spanish religious preaching to a congregation with adjacent signal splatter taking over by bottom o fthe hour. (S Barbour, NH).

Ecuador
Radio El Buen Pastor 4814.99, 0205-0259.* Presumed this station for Spanish religious music to locoal Ecuadorian music. Abrupt sign-off for poor signal quality and CODAR interference. (B Alexander, PA)

Equatorial Guinea
Radio Nacional-Bata 5005, 2206-2235. Vernacular/Spanish programming. Continuous Afro pop and Spanish ballads. Weak signalk but clear. (S Barbour, NH).

Laos
Lao National Radio (presumed) 6130, 1149-1223. Vernacular language text to program of southeastern Asian music. Top of the hour distinctive sound of a gong/bell rung slowly seven times. Anthem, presumed news and commentary. Fari signal and above average reception. ® Howard, CA).

Latvia
Radio SWH. 9290. Latvia Today program on local Latvian history to local pop music. Signl poor and very weak. Lost in noise by 1545. (B Alexander, PA) 9290, 0845-0900. Instrumental songs to long talk from announcer. Station ID and female's announcement. SINPO 24332. (A Slkaen, Argentina).

Libya
Voice of Africa 17725, 1422-1455. Segment on Martin Luther King to news reguarding Islamic conference in Libya. Readings from the "The Green Book" at 1437, followed by commentary praISING African people and a profile on Mauritania. Fair signal noted on // 21695. (S Barbour, NH).

Myanmar
Defense Forces Station, 5770. Thanks to John Wilkner for tip on this station. Sign on noted at 1130 from DX Tuner Australia. (H. Johnson, TX/Cumbre DX)

Radio Myanmar 5985, 1506-1600.* Pop songs, political slogans ("united we stand"). Lady announcer with the news and many mentions of the State Peace and Development Council, followed by a commentary. Non-stop easy-listening generic music with titles by female announcer. ID as "Radio Myanmar" followed by anthem. Signal poor to fair. (R Howard, CA)

North Korea
KCBS-Pyongyang 4450, 1048-1106. Korean text from male/female announcer, Choral/anthem like music at 1057 and presumed station ID, foolowed by time pips at 1100. Poor signal but improving. (S Barbour, NH).

Palau
Voice of Hope 9965, 1455-1457. Chinese music and announcer duo's text. Apparent sign-off at 1457. Poor signal quality and SINPO 24322. (J Evans, TN

Peru
Radio Frecuencia (presumed) 4486.1, 0206-0220. Spanish ballads and pop music. Poor - weak signal under atmospheric noise. (S Barbour, NH)

Radio Altura (presumed) 5014.5, 1032-1051. Spanish. Announcer between Quecha sounding musical selections. Poor signal slipping under interference and Rebelde on 5025 splatter by 1100. (S Barbour, NH)

Portugal
RDP 21655, 1540. Portuguese programming with African news topics and mentions of South America. (J Wood, TN).

Rwanda
Radio Radio Rwanda 6055, 2055-2100.* French announcements over music; hosting a phone-in program. DJ pulled the plug during short techno-music bit at 2100. Good/fair signal quality. (S Barbour, NH)

Singapore
Radio Singapore International 7235, 1124-1137. Listed language as Malay. Two males at tune-in, including ID at 1130 into newscast with mentions of Malaysia during poor/fair signal quality. (S Barbour, NH)

South Africa
BBC relay 3233, 2148-2200.* Report on bookstores and popular books people are buying. BBC promo at sign-off. Fair signa, best in LSB. (S Barbour, NH)

Spain
Radio Exterior Espana 21610, 1545. Spanish ID and music program. Very good signal quality. (J Wood, TN)

Sudan
Radio Peace, 4750, 0331-0346. Vernacular/English. Music ballad and talk in unknown language.URL announcement and brief "this is Radio Peace" identification at 0037 and 0339 with announcer between both with presumed ID in local language. Poor signal quality and fading by tune-out. (S Barbour, NH).

Thailand
Radio Thailand 7255, 1114-1130. English/Vernaculars. Interval signal to English station ID and station announcement, followed by announcer's text. Pulled the plug during interval signal/English sign-off. (S Barbour, NH).

Tibet
Xizang PBS (presumed) 4920, 1329-1340. Brief music clips and comments by lady announcer in presumed Tibetan. Fair signal quality // 4905, both about even with local band noise. (J Wilkins, CO)

Tunisia
RTV Tunisia 9720, 0438-0500.* Arabic. Lady announcer with commentary between Arabic recitations and traditional Arabic music. (J Wood, TN)

USA
KJES 7555, 0205. Religious talk and text from announcer. SINPO 24432. (A Slaen, Argentina).

WBCQ (Monticello, ME) 7415, 2300-2353. Bluegrass State of Mind program featuring classic C&W and bluegrass music tunes. Very good to 2240 fading. (J Wood, TN)

Voice of America-Ashna 7595 via CLN, 0210. Possible Urdu text via male announcer. SINPO 23121 // 9335. (A Slaen, Argentina)

Zambia
CVC-Voice of Africa 4965, 0320-0340. Religious programming and choral ballads. Signal fair but improving. (S Barbour, NH).

Zimbabwe
ZBC (presumed) 4828, 0203-0233. Vernacular text to African hi-life music thru tune-out. Poor to fair signal quality at best. Audible also on 3396, 0308-0319 (S Barbour, NH).
