Bouvet Island remains active on 14260 kHz

3Y, BOUVET ISLAND (Update). Petrus, 3YØE, continues to be active daily on 14260 kHz usually between 1600-1900z. The 3YØE Web page reports that they have received another portion of QSOs logged by Petrus up to January 24th. It also mentions: "Important note: Due to the amount of E-mails we receive with log queries (i.e. I’m not in the log, correct my call, put me refer to this post regarding log issues. We also would like to repeat that none of the missing entries nor suffi x corrections etc. in the log may be corrected without good proof that a QSO took place (i.e. recording of a genuine QSO) and we cannot refer to any issues like those until Petrus comes back to RSA from Bouvet Island with his notes and logbook. All queries will be revised then and all operators concerned will be contacted with exact info of their logbook entries status.

Thank you for understanding.” It was also announced by Emil, LZ3HI, that the 3YØE QSL cards will be ready at the end of the month, and all received direct cards will be confi rmed immediately. Please be patient a few more days; and before you send your QSL card for 3YØE, please ensure you are 100% in the log. Look for updates and announcements on the offi cial 3YØE operation Web page at: http://www.3y0e.com/ The 3YØE log is now available online at: http://www.sq8aqd.net/3y0e/index.php
One More Item: The team at 3YØE.com are very excited to report that a “World Exclusive” will soon be appearing on the Web site. This has never happened before on any DXpedition website.
They are delighted to be the first. They hope to have this ready for you over the weekend, or Monday at the latest.... [Ohio/Penn DX Bulletin #843 January 27, 2008]
